Many people know something feels off but do not know where to start. Symptoms may be persistent, overlapping, or difficult to explain. Others need timely medical care but want to avoid long waits, fragmented evaluations, or being passed between providers.

The Whole Human Medical Visit is an in-person, physician-led medical evaluation designed to address specific concerns through comprehensive assessment, advanced clinical reasoning, and hands-on treatment when appropriate. This visit is not wellness care and not long-term health planning. It is focused medical problem solving.

What This Visit Is Designed to Do

This visit is built for patients who want answers, relief, and a clear plan when symptoms are affecting how they function day to day. Concerns may involve pain, inflammation, fatigue, injury, recovery from illness, or other acute or subacute medical issues.

Rather than focusing on a single symptom in isolation, the visit takes a whole-body view. Many complaints that appear simple on the surface have multiple contributing factors. Identifying what matters and what does not is where experience counts.

A Different Level of Clinical Perspective

This visit is led by a board-certified emergency medicine physician with nearly two decades of experience evaluating undifferentiated symptoms and complex presentations. Emergency medicine training is centered on rapid pattern recognition, broad differential diagnosis, and decisive management across all organ systems.

As a doctor of osteopathic medicine, care is approached with attention to how structure, function, and physiology interact across the entire body. Symptoms are evaluated in context rather than in silos.

This combination of training allows for what can best be described as a 360-degree clinical view. The goal is not to chase every possible explanation, but to identify the most likely causes efficiently and treat what is actionable.

What Happens During the Visit

The visit includes a focused but comprehensive medical assessment. This may include review of prior records, symptom patterns, lifestyle contributors, physical examination, and discussion of potential underlying mechanisms contributing to how you feel.

When appropriate, in-office treatments can be provided the same day. Depending on your needs, this may include:

Trigger point injections

PRP joint or soft tissue injections

IV hydration or nutrient therapy

Non-opioid pain management strategies

Procedural interventions guided by clinical findings

Adjunctive lifestyle recommendations to support recovery

Not every visit requires procedures. Recommendations are based on clinical judgment, not a predetermined menu.

Urgent Needs Without the Urgent Care Experience

While this is not an urgent care or emergency department, established patients may be seen for time-sensitive issues that would otherwise send them to urgent care. This includes situations where IV fluids, procedural care, or medical evaluation is needed but does not warrant an emergency department visit.

The advantage is continuity, context, and efficiency. Care is delivered by a physician who already knows your history and can act decisively without unnecessary delays.

Who This Visit Is For

The Whole Human Medical Visit is appropriate for patients who:

Have a specific concern they want evaluated thoroughly

Feel their symptoms have been minimized or fragmented elsewhere

Want physician-led care with procedural capability

Prefer in-person assessment and treatment

Need timely care without navigating urgent care or emergency departments
